Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH 44135

Position Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all facilities are safe, well-kept, and operating efficiently. This is achieved through direct project work, coordinating with internal teams, or managing subcontractors.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee factory trash and waste removal, including recycling and daily waste collection between shifts.
• Manage and coordinate building subcontractors.
• Record maintenance activity for critical equipment (HVAC, air compressors, material handling) regardless of work being performed by the technician or subcontractor.
• Maintain factory cleanliness, including organizing and disposing of pallets, totes, and boxes.
• Provide extra shoveling and salting of walkways during winter for safety.
• Assist with additional projects assigned by management. 

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Reorganize machines and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 2 years working with facility equipment or in a similar role.
• Skills: Ability to interact professionally with co-workers and subcontractors. Clear and concise communication.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for the majority of the day with frequent walking and lifting.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs independently.
