Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages leveraging standardized assessments combined with observational insights.
• Create tailored treatment plans that encompass immediate goals while addressing broader communication, cognition, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions targeting communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing efficiency.
• Work closely in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and other providers to develop holistic care approaches.
• Provide education for patients and family members to enhance support and progress during off-clinic hours.
• Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment to ensure seamless continuity of patient care throughout their journey.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in adherence to all applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with colleagues.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within a month of starting.
