You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:30 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
