Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join a dynamic team in Louisville, KY. This travel assignment will place you in a high-acuity environment, focusing on stroke and neuro patient care, among other responsibilities. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with no first-time travelers accepted.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Provide care to patients with stroke, neuro, neurosurgery overflow, and other related diagnoses
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-6 based on acuity
• Perform comprehensive neuro assessments and phlebotomy tasks
• Conduct EKG rhythm analysis and manage NG/Dobhoff tubes
• Coordinate with support teams including CNAs, receptionists, and specialists
• Utilize integrated medical technologies such as EMR Cerner and Omnicell

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Valid NIHSS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a PCU setting
