Full Time Corporate, Covington, LA, US Salary Range: $22.00 To $40.00 Hourly \Job Purpose: Perform Advanced level maintenance, repair, assembly and installation of cranes when required. Essential Functions Service or repair mechanical equipment in house and/or at customer's site domestically or internationally. Keep crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance and repairing equipment as required. Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and ANSI standards. Ensure compliance with Techcrane Quality Management System. Perform assembly, installation and testing of hydraulic cranes and components. Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency. Operate forklift, hand truck, man lift and other production equipment. Maintain clean and organized shop.. Confer with Engineering and Production Manager regarding problems with operation or maintenance of equipment. Qualifications Must have high school diploma or equivalent or technical school. At least three-year experience as crane technician; demonstrated mechanical skills. Able to read blueprints, schematics and understand technical data. Able to identify and resolve operational malfunctions. Must have reliable transportation. Physical and Mental Demands Must be able to climb and balance; work at heights. Regularly lift/carry 50 pounds or more. Travel aboard boats and helicopters; board offshore platforms. Will spend significant amounts of time working in field, including offshore; will also spend time in assembly shop and warehouse.
