Job Description Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Strand Development Company, LLC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. Hotel General Manager Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott - Elizabeth City, NC We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our 97-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, conveniently located near the beautiful Outer Banks. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Marriott-certified General Manager with a proven track record of successfully leading hotel operations, driving guest satisfaction, managing financial performance, and developing high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations Lead, coach, and develop hotel staff Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain Marriott brand standards Manage revenue, expenses, and profitability Ensure compliance with Marriott policies and operational procedures Drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall hotel performance Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Marriott-certified General Manager (required) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven success in hotel operations, revenue management, and team leadership Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunity Medical benefits Paid vacation Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates If you are a results-driven hospitality leader looking to join a growing organization in a desirable coastal North Carolina location, we encourage you to apply!
