QA Tech

Adecco Staffing is hiring a 2nd Shift QA Technician role for a food manufacturing company in Westbrook, ME. The technician is responsible for ensuring ingredients and finished products meet quality and food safety standards before they reach customers.

Schedule & Pay

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• New hires may initially train on 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Pay: Approximately $21–$25/hour (depending on experience)

• Temp-to-hire opportunity.

Location: Westbrook, ME
Responsibilities

• Perform sensory evaluations (appearance, smell, taste when applicable)

• Conduct analytical testing on ingredients and finished products

• Record and analyze test results

• Inspect production processes for compliance with quality standards

• Verify labels and packaging accuracy

• Manage product holds/releases and sample retention

• Calibrate QA equipment

• Complete documentation and data entry (Excel and internal systems)

• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, GFSI, sanitation, and allergen programs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of QA, quality control, or food manufacturing experience preferred

• Knowledge of:

  • HACCP

  • GMPs

  • SQF

  • Food safety regulations

  • Allergen control

  • Label compliance

• Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
