What You'll Do As a Freight Handler, you'll play a critical role in our shipping and receiving operations by: Preparing, packaging, and staging products for shipment Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy Operating forklifts and material handling equipment (training available) Organizing inventory and maintaining warehouse cleanliness Working closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to meet shipping deadlines Following all safety procedures and company standards What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday Dependable attendance and positive work ethic Basic computer and inventory tracking skills preferred Forklift experience is a plus, but not required Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn Why Steel & O'Brien?
