Janitorial Cleaner

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in upholding the standards of hygiene and appearance within our commercial and residential spaces.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-kept.
- Carry out custodial tasks such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any issues that require attention.
- Execute floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to preserve floor integrity.
- Assist with porter duties, ensuring common areas are tidy and presentable at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Experience in commercial cleaning settings with a strong understanding of custodial practices.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance protocols to ensure operational efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing and waxing processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
