Plant Operations Manager

Job TitlePay Range: $52.00hr - $54.00hrRequirement/Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience in a facilities management discipline.Minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience with a reputable organization.Proficient with Windows-based software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional working groups.Proven experience leading customer and stakeholder meetings.Demonstrated ability to manage operations in compliance with technical and contractual requirements.Track record of developing a team culture focused on Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.Hands-on experience managing preventive maintenance and repairs for MEP, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems.Experience with building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, security cameras, access control, and related facility infrastructure.Experience supporting mission-critical or high-availability facilities.Knowledge of OSHA codes, regulations, and safety compliance requirements.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and as-built drawings.Strong ability to comprehend complex contract terms and performance requirements.Comfortable taking off-hour calls and responding to emergencies when necessary.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary liaison for addressing operational, contractual, and financial matters with a customer service mindset.Prepare and deliver accurate monthly operational and financial reports.Develop, manage, and track operating budgets and financial forecasts to align with organizational objectives.Delegate tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accountability across the team.Serve as a role model, mentor, and trusted resource to staff and stakeholders.Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships, including contract administration, performance monitoring, compliance, and cost control.Oversee KPI Management.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data entered into the CMMS.Administer documentation related to extension requests, relief events, and repair justifications in accordance with contract requirements.Review, develop, and proactively implement operational procedures and best practices.Provide oversight of day-to-day operations as well as long-term planning activities.Manage supervisors and staff, including hiring, promotions, recognition, and performance improvement plans.Provide technical and managerial guidance to the operations team.Nice to Have:BOMA and/or IFMA designation (RPA/CFM) preferred.Skills:Customer service.Financial forecasting.Budget management.Contract administration.Vendor management.KPI Management.CMMS.Preventive maintenance.MEP systems.HVAC.Electrical systems.Plumbing.Fire alarm systems.Security systems.Building automation systems.Access control.OSHA compliance.Microsoft Office Suite.MS Project.Qualification And Education:10+ years of progressive responsibility in facilities management.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
