Respiratory Therapist - NICU/Pediatrics Weekly Pay: $1957 - $2157 Shift: 12 Hour Night Shifts Per Week: 3 Scheduled Hours: 36 Start Date: 07/13/2026 End Date: 10/17/2026 Duration: 13 Week(s) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 4x12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00, scheduled Thursday through Sunday. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, working specifically with pediatric patients. The position requires expertise in a Level 2 NICU environment, ensuring high-quality respiratory care and treatment. Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments to neonates and pediatric patients. Conduct assessments, including interpretation of arterial blood gases. Manage ventilator settings and provide mechanical ventilation support. Assist with intubation and extubation procedures. Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. Document patient care in the Epic charting system. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a NICU or pediatric setting. Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) in the state of practice. ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred. Experience with Epic charting is required.
