Certified / Registered Medical AssistantLocation: Charlotte, NCCompensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).About the Opportunity:Addison Group is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a highly reputable specialty practice. This role is patient-facing, offers variety, and provides exposure across multiple providers and clinical workflows.Key Responsibilities:Room patients and assist providers during clinic visitsSupport in-office procedures and clinical workflowsRelay lab results and respond to patient questions via phoneUpdate patient charts, manage documentation, and organize referralsPerform prior authorizations as neededFloat between providers and offer coverage where neededAssist with special projects assigned by leadershipQualifications:Active CMA or RMA credential requiredAt least 2+ years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant requiredExperience handling patient phone calls requiredAbility to explain procedures, injections, and clinical instructions clearly requiredExperience working in a specialty practice preferredFamiliarity with NextGen EMR preferredAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
