About Every Cure:

Every Cure is an AI-driven nonprofit, biotech organization on a mission to save and improve lives by repurposing existing medicines for diseases with significant unmet need. We are working to create a world where every drug is used to treat every disease it possibly can, so that no patient suffers when an existing treatment could help them. Rather than starting with a single disease or drug, we take an “all-vs-all" approach, systematically looking across every FDA-approved drug and every known disease to surface repurposing opportunities most likely to help patients. We are also the first organization to take end-to-end ownership of that process: from identifying promising repurposing opportunities, to validating it in the lab and/or clinic, to working with physicians, payers, and patient advocacy groups to get it to the patients who need it. We are filling a gap left by the current biomedical system, which doesn’t systematically pursue new uses for old drugs. Every Cure pairs AI-driven prediction with rigorous review from our medical team, plus close collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups, to unlock the full potential of existing medicines to treat every disease and every patient we possibly can.

Inspired by Every Cure’s co-founders' work repurposing drugs for Castleman disease and other rare diseases, Every Cure is advancing repurposed treatments for neglected diseases and has been featured in The New Yorker, The New York Times, USA Today, Good Morning America, Nature, and other news media. Led by a talented leadership team and an outstanding Board of Directors, Every Cure is supported through funding from leading philanthropic organizations like Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, TED’s Audacious Project, as well as the federal agency ARPA-H.

Our approach:

• AI-Powered Identification: We use advanced artificial intelligence to analyze the world’s biomedical knowledge and identify FDA-approved drugs that can be repurposed for conditions with unmet needs. This cutting-edge technology enables us to explore new therapeutic possibilities efficiently.
• Open-Source Commitment: Many of our methods' code, quality-checking tools, and knowledge graph pipeline are open-source, and our drug list, disease list, and knowledge graph-based drug-disease scores are freely available. We aim to foster collaboration and transparency within the scientific community and unlock the potential for discovering new treatments.

Every Cure is seeking a mission-driven Impact Evidence & Engagement Lead to help define, measure, and communicate the real-world impact of prioritized drug–disease programs.

This role sits at the intersection of public health, epidemiology, real-world evidence, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate brings a strong public health or medically oriented foundation, is comfortable working with quantitative data and measurement frameworks, and can translate complex evidence into clear, useful insights for patients, clinicians, advocacy organizations, and other external stakeholders.

Working closely with the Medical, Tech, and Impact teams, this person will help determine what impact should look like for each program, how it should be measured, and what evidence or stakeholder engagement is needed to move promising treatments toward real-world patient use. This is not a pure data science role or a traditional communications role; it is a hybrid position for someone who can pair analytical thinking with strong external-facing communication and judgment.


The strongest candidates will be collaborative, patient-centered, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by working across disciplines in a fast-moving, AI-forward organization.

How you will make an impact:

• Build Impact Measurement Strategies: Partner with Medical, Tech, and Impact colleagues to define pair-specific and organization-wide measures of success, including baselines, leading and lagging indicators, endpoints, and appropriate real-world data sources.

• Conduct Quantitative Analysis: Support end-to-end analysis using tools such as SAS and R, including data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and communication of findings related to impact measurement, patient populations, and evidence gaps.

• Bring a Public Health & Epidemiology Lens: Apply epidemiological and population-health thinking to prioritized programs, including disease burden, patient identification, diagnostic pathways, study design considerations, and real-world outcomes.

• Support Patient Identification & Diagnostics: Work with clinicians, patient advocacy organizations, patient communities, and internal teams to better understand where patients are, how they are diagnosed, and what barriers may prevent eligible patients from being identified or reached.

• Partner Across Medical + Tech: Serve as a bridge across Impact, Medical, Clinical Development, and Tech, contributing an impact and measurement perspective while respecting the scientific and technical ownership of partner teams.

• Engage External Stakeholders: Build thoughtful relationships with patients, clinicians, advocacy organizations, regulators, government health agencies, and other partners relevant to prioritized drug–disease programs.

• Translate Evidence Into Action: Turn quantitative, epidemiological, and scientific findings into clear recommendations, externally facing materials, briefs, and other communications that are accurate, accessible, and appropriate for the audience.

• Strengthen Impact Systems: Help develop repeatable templates, dashboards, measurement plans, and other infrastructure that allow Every Cure to track and communicate impact as the portfolio grows.

What you bring to the team:

Education

• Advanced degree strongly preferred, ideally an MPH, MS in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Population Health, Public Health, or a related field.

• A bachelor’s degree may be considered in combination with substantial directly relevant experience.

• Coursework or training in epidemiology, statistics, data science, population health, or quantitative methods is highly valued.

Experience

• 1 - 2+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree, or approximately 3 - 5 years of directly relevant experience without one.

• Experience in public health, epidemiology, real-world evidence (RWE), outcomes research, impact measurement, population health, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with quantitative analysis, measurement, tracking, and/or data-driven program evaluation.

• Experience working with medical, clinical, scientific, or technical teams.

• Experience engaging external stakeholders, including clinicians, patient advocacy organizations, researchers, or patient communities.

• Experience developing written materials or translating scientific and quantitative findings for varied audiences.

Skills

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency with SAS and/or similar statistical tools.

• Strong understanding of epidemiological concepts, measurement strategies, and study design.

• Ability to establish baselines, identify meaningful metrics, and develop approaches for tracking impact over time.

• Ability to critically assess a program, identify evidence gaps and potential barriers, and recommend next steps.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce polished, externally facing materials.

• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to translate complex evidence for patients, clinicians, and other nontechnical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Your paycheck: Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $90,000 - $95,000 annually.
