Accountant I/IIThe County of Riverside's Office of Economic Development is recruiting for an Accountant I/II to join the Administrative Division, working with the County Service Area funds in Riverside. The Accountant I/II performs specialized and technical accounting work involving the review, analysis, and reconciliation of fiscal records and accounts. Responsibilities include high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable coding and processing, fund and account reconciliations, Blanket Purchase Order and contract tracking, salary and cost allocations, asset management, annual State Controller reporting, and budget projections.The ideal candidate will have strong cost accounting experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to efficiently manage and analyze large volumes of financial data across approximately 100 funds. Experience with PeopleSoft is highly desired. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple accounting functions and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
