General Ledger Accountant

Position Overview We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated GL Accountant to join our team. This role will support the Corporate Controller in daily operations and onsite accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger processes and be able to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist the Corporate Controller in managing daily accounting operations and financial reporting. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze financial information. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial information. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting. 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or related area. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. #J-18808-Ljbffr
