Senior Regulatory Compliance Leader

General Responsibilities Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Leader to join our team in Arizona! This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead regulatory compliance efforts in Arizona and assist staff and clients across the country. Skills Air permitting (Title V and minor source) Stormwater/SWPPP RCRA/Hazardous waste Compliance auditing Oil Storage/SPCC plans SARA Title III (Tier II/TRI) reporting Industrial wastewater/NPDES Sustainability/ESG Essential Roles And Responsibilities Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services. Understand the local, regional, and Arizona market. Develop strong working relationships with clients. Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies. Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests. Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables. Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness. Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines. Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) Minimum 12+ years of experience in a full‑time consulting role Proven ability to engage and lead a team of technical staff and mentor their growth Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability Excellent analytical and communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and possess a positive attitude Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history 40‑Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8‑Hour refresher preferred Based on eligibility, we offer many programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan with matching (monetary and company stock), paid time off and holidays, education reimbursement, a company stock purchase plan, and various bonus programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Terracon
