Cardiology, PRN Cardiology Opportunity in Philadelphia, PA

ArchWell Health is seeking a PRN cardiologist for its Philadelphia Market. The PRN cardiologist should be a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms.

Duties/Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Provides excellent cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting
\n
• Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests echocardiograms.
\n
• Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly)
\n
• Communicates results of echocardiograms if needed with primary care providers in a timely manner
\n

Required Skills/Abilities:

\n

\n
• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including ability to foster and cultivate relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff
\n
• Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures
\n
• Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography
\n
• Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor
\n
• Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters
\n
• Ability to work remotely full-time in a HIPAA-compliant setting
\n

Education and Experience:

\n

\n
• MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\n
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
\n
• Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography
\n
• Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania  
\n
• Current DEA registration
\n
• Proficient PC skills
\n
