QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have background experience as a participant or coach in Tennis
- Must be able to teach and demonstrate the fundamentals of Tennis
- Must know state and national rules and be well-versed in Tennis
- Must be available for all practices
- Must be available for all home and away games
- Exhibit personal behavior in the presence of students to serve as a proper role model for adolescent athletes
- Must complete mandatory Tillamook School District online classes (Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Safety, etc.)
- Must be able to pass a criminal/fingerprint background check ($75 fee)
- Currently have and maintain a valid first aid card.
- Organize and supervise all aspects of a sports program including practice scheduling, keeping statistics and managing game film, budget management, equipment maintenance and purchasing, communications, etc.
- Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for individual and team success.
- Pursue professional growth opportunities through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.
- Serve as a proper role model for adolescent athletes instructing them in good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride.
- Ensure high-quality and effective communication with all stakeholders fostering a positive image within the school and outside communities.
