QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have background experience as a participant or coach in Tennis
Must be able to teach and demonstrate the fundamentals of Tennis
Must know state and national rules and be well-versed in Tennis
Must be available for all practices
Must be available for all home and away games
Exhibit personal behavior in the presence of students to serve as a proper role model for adolescent athletes
Must complete mandatory Tillamook School District online classes (Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Safety, etc.)
Must be able to pass a criminal/fingerprint background check ($75 fee)
Currently have and maintain a valid first aid card.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and supervise all aspects of a sports program including practice scheduling, keeping statistics and managing game film, budget management, equipment maintenance and purchasing, communications, etc.
Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for individual and team success.
Pursue professional growth opportunities through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.
Serve as a proper role model for adolescent athletes instructing them in good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride.
Ensure high-quality and effective communication with all stakeholders fostering a positive image within the school and outside communities.

SALARY: $4,104 - $4,710 (DOE)
