Quality Assurance Technician

Position Overview The Lead Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for assisting the department's management by creating data batches in both basic and custom data formats, completing Quality Assurance control checks, and transmitting data files. This position id responsible to complete required steps to complete the database setup phase of each assigned new Protocol, including initial contact and setup discussions with the cross functional teams, preparation of the data test batch, and establishing a schedule for regularly occurring data transfers. This position also assists in the authoring of Data Reports in accordance to Corporate SOPs and as instructed by Department Management. This position also assists in the authoring of Data Reports in accordance to Corporate SOPs and as instructed by Department Management. Primary Responsibilities Gathers and compiles test data from the lab, creates customer test reports (Certificate of Analysis), interacts / operates within customer specific portals to upload data, production volume and other customer specific needs Reviews test data prior to shipments, analyzes returned material, performs Root Cause Analysis, 8D s, 5-Why, helps develop corrective actions Participates in new plant procedures, collecting data from experiments and assisting other team members Education Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum Experience Required One (1) year of related experience License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required n/a Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required Adheres to safety standards and regulations, including wearing proper protective equipment Ability to work any shift and overtime, and ability to lift and carry 70 pounds Ability to read calipers and/or micrometers Ability to troubleshoot and read blue-prints, and ability to read all meters of electrical and electronic equipment Ability to work at heights and operate various powered industrial material handling equipment Ability to read an oscilloscope Computer Equipment and Software Requirements Microsoft Office Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
