ICU RN – 12-Hour Day Shift (36 Hours/Week)

Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

• Ventilated patients
• Stroke & thrombectomy patients
• Opti-Flow
• BiPAP
• Overdose patients
• EndoTool insulin management
• CRRT
• GI bleeds
• Some trauma patients

Patient Ratios

• RN: 1:1 – 1:3

Required Certifications

• Active RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Required Skills

• Critical care drips (vasopressors, sedation, insulin)
• Ventilator management
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Management of arterial (ART) and central venous (CVP) lines
• Chest tube management
• Blood product administration
• Wound care and dressing changes
• General ICU critical care competency
  EMR: Epic
  Floating
• Required within Region 1 and within scope of practice.
• Facilities may include:
  • Cabarrus
  • University City
  • Stanly
  • Lake Norman
  • Central Division (CMC Main, Mercy, LCH – Pediatrics only)
• If floating mid-shift, traveler remains on the clock and is paid for travel time.
• Decline only if not agreeable to regional floating.

Floating Required within Region 1 and within scope of practice. Facilities may include: Cabarrus University City Stanly Lake Norman Central Division (CMC Main, Mercy, LCH – Pediatrics only) If floating mid-shift, traveler remains on the clock and is paid for travel time. Decline only if not agreeable to regional floating.
