Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a busy emergency department. The role involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population with a focus on trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, and general emergencies. The position is a 13-week contract with night shifts, offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced medical equipment and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and 3 years of relevant emergency room experience. The candidate must be willing to work in a rotating schedule that includes night shifts and on-call requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
• Additional Information: The unit has 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms. Equipment includes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers. The team values multitaskers, team players, and self-starters. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs. The unit follows established policies and maintains active awards and recognition programs.
• Experience: 0 minimum years required, with preferred experience of 3 years in emergency nursing.

• End Date: 01/04/2027
