Job Summary :

• Provide nursing care in Perioperative (Periop), Endoscopy (Endo), and Recovery (PACU) settings at Springfield Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Springfield, VT.
• Must demonstrate high proficiency in Periop, Endo, and PACU specialties.
• Responsible for starting and maintaining IV lines.
• Care for patients in outpatient settings, specifically in Pre-op, Endo, and Recovery.
• Work as a travel nurse (local travelers within 50 miles not eligible).
• Required to have at least 2 years of recent Outpatient PACU experience, plus Periop and Endo experience.
• Must be able to work overtime at regular pay rate (no OT multiplier), with holidays paid at 1.25x.
• Small hospital environment; previous experience in critical access facilities preferred.
• Required to have own vehicle for commuting.
• Must include permanent address and any scheduling requests at submission; no changes allowed after offer.
• Documentation requirements: updated work history, recent skills checklists for PACU and Endo, a supervisory signed reference from the past two years, Vermont or Compact RN license, and current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Previous travel nurse experience and Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Facility provides emergency, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient care, with a variety of specialty clinics and psychiatric services.

• Active Vermont or Compact RN license.
• Active American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
