Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, requiring Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative The role involves demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and operating MRI equipment effectively. Key responsibilities include conducting MRI scans, ensuring high-quality imaging, and adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications and skills include a preference for experienced MRI technologists with advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility. Candidates should have completed an accredited MRI program and possess current BLS certification . Registration with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT is preferred, with an expectation to pass the advanced MRI certification exam within one year.
