The person in this role will be a strategic member of the AD Contracts team, who will manage front-end assessment of business pursuits, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer relationship management within company policies, acquisition regulations, and customer requirements/specifications for various types of United Sates Government (USG) Depart of War (DoW) contracts.This position is eligible for a Sign-On bonus and Relocation AssistanceWhat You Will DoReview request for proposals (RFPs), structuring balanced business deals, establishing negotiation strategy, formalizing contractual documents, and frequent customer interface (virtual and in-person)Work closely with Raytheon leadership by advising contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks, compiling and analyze data, maintaining historical information, and providing recommendations for a balanced business dealManage multiple contracts as the primary interface with the customers’ Prime Contracting Officers (PCOs)Conduct timely and effective negotiations and resolution of customer issues to maximize key financial metrics (i.e., bookings, sales, cash, profit, etc.)Work independently, yet recognize matters that require leadership review and buy-inMulti-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emergeDraft complex letters that communicate Raytheon's business position effectivelyTravel to a Raytheon or customer facility as needed for program and/or customer meetings - Some international travel may be requiredQualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experienceExperience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and related government regulations.Active and transferable Secret U.S. Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start dateQualifications We PreferMature judgment, proactive involvement in strategic issues and problem resolution skillsHands-on proposal preparation or negotiation experienceExperience managing contracts with both development and production elementsExperience managing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contractsLearn More & Apply NowPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.
