Production Quality Engineer

Join a company driven by quality products across an evolving range of industries.POSITION OVERVIEWTo provide technical quality engineering support to the Customer Quality Engineering team, at the point of manufacturing, in the containment, analysis, and corrective actions related to zero-mile and warranty returns from our customers.WHAT YOU’LL DOInvestigate all manufacturing related customer returns using formal problem-solving tools, and documenting in CT+.Lead cross-functional teams through the problem-solving process, as necessary.Clarify customer expectations and communicate to the appropriate manufacturing team.Prioritize quality issues and projects to be executed by the manufacturing team.Provide pulse of customers to the manufacturing team using various communication channels.Identify and coordinate continuous improvement activities within the assigned manufacturing area.Assess risk and validate process changes within the manufacturing process.Drive product/process improvements as early as possible in the manufacturing process (value stream), to ensure greatest company benefit.Communicate continuous improvement opportunities to product development teams for new product launches based on lessons learned from field concerns.Other duties as assigned.HOW YOU’LL DO ITInfluential leadership – Communicating issues and concerns using data and facts in a way that helps other achieve a collective goal.Establishes focus - Align personnel and other resources in a manner consistent with organizational vision and objectives.
