Art Teacher

What You'll Do:

• Teach in a truly personalized way - one student at a time.
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner's needs.
• Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
• Keep student records accurate and organized.
• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Art courses (Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Portfolio Development, Graphic & Fashion Design, Drawing, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, Art History, and Electives), following content standards - curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

This is a Temporary Position for the months of October - December. There is potential to move into a permanent position depending on enrollment needs in the new year.
