Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions; coordinate equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and planning for continuing services.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
• Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for clinical care.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
• Actively engage in professional development, performance improvement initiatives, and patient and professional advocacy efforts including community events and professional memberships.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma.
• Adherence to the state Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.
• Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Ability to complete thorough and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital setting.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration and discharge planning processes.
• Prior experience supervising Physical Therapy students or clinical affiliates.
