Mechanical Assembler

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler $20-$24/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for completing the assembly of various machine models by following established procedures and ensuring that each machine meets our quality standards. Additionally, you will move machines as required and use manual and electric pallet jacks, among other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.

• Move machines as required.

• Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.

• Use manual and electric pallet jacks.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

• Ability to bend/twist or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.

• At least 6 months of previous working experience.

• Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience.

• Ability to work with power tools or hand tools.

• Mechanically inclined.

• Good work history, even if it is not in manufacturing.

• Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools.

• Ability to read work instructions and drawings.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

• Good memorization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly, hand tools, and power tools.

• Familiarity with blueprints and assembly lines.

Work Environment

This is a well-lit and organized environment with skylights. Employees work in 'assembly pods' of 3-4 people, promoting a team-oriented atmosphere. You will be trained on multiple assembly lines, gaining versatility through cross-training in different areas.

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
