MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Texas. Responsibilities:
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management
  • Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments
  • Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, ABG analysis, and EKGs
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
  • Respond to emergency codes and provide critical care respiratory support
  • Accurately document all patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
  • Valid Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, and critical care protocols
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems
