Position Overview Department: 37628 High Point Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation: High Point Premier Employment Type: Full time Hours per Week: 40 Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Location & Relocation Location: High Point, North Carolina Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 for qualified candidates Benefits Day 1 Health Coverage with copay or HSA-eligible options Generous PTO: up to 25 days per year Parental Benefits: 6 weeks paid maternity leave for birthing mothers and 4 weeks paid parental leave for non-birthing parents Retirement: up to 7% employer‑paid contribution Education Reimbursement: up to $2,500 per year for a bachelor’s degree and up to $5,000 per year for a graduate degree Paid Time Off programs Health and welfare benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, short‑ and long‑term disability Flexible Spending Accounts for health care and dependent care expenses Family benefits such as adoption assistance and paid parental leave Defined contribution retirement plans with employer match Educational Assistance Program Qualifications Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure Active member of APTA – encouraged but not required Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school (required) CPR certification required every two years Responsibilities Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and according to the Standard of Practice Maintain accurate patient documentation, completing written evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ensuring timely documentation of education, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD‑9 codes as appropriate Meet department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations and adjusting schedules to meet patient and department needs Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities Promote professional development of other health care workers, provide representation on committees, and conduct in‑service training programs to share state‑of‑the‑art information and enhance safety Supervise physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality patient care Communicate in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers Provide appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating specific knowledge, skills, and abilities for the patients served Adhere to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork Compensation Details Base compensation listed within the pay range, based on qualifications, skills, experience, and training Premium pay options such as shift, on‑call, and other benefits based on the specific position Incentive pay for select positions Opportunity for annual increases based on performance #J-18808-Ljbffr
