General Surgeon Opportunity
As a general surgeon with Wythe County Community Hospital in Wytheville, Virginia, you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to caring with a local heart. Position details:
- Hospital-employed position
- Seeking surgeon comfortable practicing independently in a community hospital setting
- Bread-and-butter general surgery practice with endoscopy/colonoscopy capabilities
- Ability to manage GI bleeds and acute surgical cases in a community hospital setting
- da Vinci robotic platform anticipated later this year
- Supportive hospital leadership committed to expanding surgical capabilities locally
- Competitive compensation package with productivity incentives
- Additional call compensation available for call shifts beyond contractual expectations
- Open to experienced surgeons comfortable with broad-scope general surgery
