Scientific Digital Content Writer (SEO & AI-Optimized Content)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a scientific digital content writer to create SEO and AI-optimized web content for life-science audiences. The role combines scientific expertise with digital strategy to develop discoverable, accurate content supporting customer engagement across the buyer journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword and topic research to identify qualified traffic opportunities and user intent
- Develop and optimize scientific and marketing content for web using SEO and AI-assisted methods
- Audit existing content for gaps, duplication, and optimization potential; implement improvements
- Analyze content performance using analytics and apply insights to enhance effectiveness
- Partner with SEO specialists and marketing teams to support aligned content strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology or related life sciences field
- 3+ years experience in life sciences research, R&D, marketing, or technical support
- Proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar)
- Strong writing and editing skills with scientific accuracy focus
- Knowledge of SEO, AEO, and content strategy fundamentals
- Ability to work with AI tools for content creation and optimization
- Cross-functional collaboration and project management skills
Compensation: $75,000–$110,000 base
