We serve low-income families and are committed to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate care regardless of insurance or ability to pay.Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:Core ResponsibilitiesHandle all aspects of pediatric dentistry.Perform oral exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylactic work.Serve as a member of a cross-functional team of Dentists that provides exceptional patient care, and performs four-handed dentistry and oral surgery.Treat mouth diseases and confer with physicians regarding medical/dental problems, and assign patients to plaque control or other educational programs.Attend staff conferences; keep clinical and other records regarding services provided, supplies and materials used.The role is most suited to a pediatric dentist with 1-2 years of experience in a primary care clinic setting. Ideally, your fluency in Spanish will enable you to better serve our culturally diverse patients. Ultimately, success in this role will require a high degree of interpersonal competence, which includes building effective relationships with all team members and patients.Minimum Job RequirementsRequired SkillsRequires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry; Possession of valid D.D.S./D.M.D. License to practice in the State of CaliforniaMust specialize in pediatric dentistryAbility to operate all types of dental equipment and machineryAbility to work across cultures and demonstrate support of diversity, equity and inclusion.Required ExperienceTwo or more years of experience in all phases of general dentistry and auxiliary utilization
