Technologists must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologists must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

• Entity/Organization: MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority/Medical Center)
• FLSA Status: Hourly 9p-7:30a Tuesday-Friday
• ***$20,000 Sign On Bonus***
• Job Description/Summary: Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. Technologists must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologists must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.
• Minimum Training and Education : Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specific criteria.
• Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations :
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.

(Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. (Continuous) Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
