Senior Global Tax Manager

Brewer Morris is working with a global organization, seeking a Senior Global Tax Manager to join their corporate tax team in Chelmsford, MA (2 days on-site). The Senior Global Tax Manager will be primarily responsible for the preparation and review of the global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 and will manage key federal, state, and international income tax compliance and reporting processes. The position will have responsibility for U.S. international tax compliance and reporting and will work with internal stakeholders and external advisors on international tax matters, including GILTI, foreign tax credits, Pillar II, and other cross-border tax matters. This role requires strong tax accounting and U.S. corporate tax fundamentals, working knowledge of U.S. international tax matters, and strong project management skills. The Senior Manager will be expected to take ownership of complex tax workstreams, establish and manage timelines and deliverables, coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, identify and resolve issues, and drive projects through completion. This position will also support tax forecasting, tax research and planning, tax credits and incentives, M&A activities, and other strategic and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the global income tax provision process under ASC 740, including quarterly and annual reporting, effective tax rate analysis, deferred taxes, account reconciliations, and financial statement disclosures. Oversee U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, including estimated payments, extensions, and annual filings. Manage U.S. international tax compliance and reporting, including GILTI, FTC, BEAT, FDII, Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8991, 8992, and 8993, along with related reporting requirements. Prepare and review CbCR, Pillar II, Japan CFC, and other international reporting obligations. Support international tax planning, transfer pricing initiatives, tax forecasting, audits, and M&A activities. Manage tax credits and incentive programs, including R&D credits. Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors on complex domestic and international tax matters. Drive tax process improvements, internal controls, standardization, and efficiency initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting required. CPA and/or MST preferred. Progressive tax experience within a multinational corporation and/or Big Four environment. Strong ASC 740 experience, including preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions. Deep knowledge of U.S. corporate income tax and international tax reporting. Proven experience managing complex tax projects and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders. Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and/or OneSource is a plus. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Working knowledge of Subpart F, GILTI, FTC, FDII, and BEAT. Excellent communication and project management skills.
