Also open to directly from public accounting!Why Join Us?Immediately Hiring- Hybrid Role in Galleria with strong growth potential.Job DetailsAs a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked to take ownership of technical accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls initiatives in a collaborative, high-visibility environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4-trained or industry accountant looking to deepen their technical accounting expertise, work cross-functionally with global stakeholders, and grow within a stable, well-resourced organization. What You'll Do Partner with internal departments, corporate headquarters, external auditors, and consultants on reporting and information requests Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge Analyze financial statement trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to leadership Research, analyze, and apply international accounting guidance (IFRS) and internal accounting policy to complex transactions and reporting matters Recommend enhancements to accounting processes, reporting tools, and systems Contribute to SOX compliance activities — control execution, documentation, testing support, and process improvement Support special projects, M&A activity, integrations, and process improvement initiatives Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers, and supporting analyses Support external financial reporting deliverables, including annual reporting requirements What You Bring Advanced Excel skills CPA license, or actively progressing toward CPA certification Oil & gas industry experience strongly preferred; upstream experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including time at a national or Big 4 public accounting firm Familiarity with SOX control frameworks Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, audit, or internal controls Why This Role Real room for growth Backed by a globally established parent organization with significant financial stability Hybrid work schedule High-visibility exposure to corporate leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams Strong, collaborative team culture
