As a Cake Decorator, you will play a key role in crafting beautifully designed and expertly decorated cakes within a small, dedicated team. This independent role involves bringing creativity and precision to each cake, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll work regular weekday hours and have the opportunity to advance to Lead Decorator.
Responsibilities
- Design and decorate cakes with attention to detail
- Apply piping techniques expertly
- Mix colors accurately to achieve desired effects
- Interact with customers to understand and fulfill their cake requirements
- Maintain quality control throughout the decorating process
- Ensure all work areas meet sanitation standards
- Fulfill cake orders efficiently and on schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cake decorating
- Knowledge of ServSafe food safety standards
- Proficiency in fondant application and piping techniques
- Strong color mixing and cake design skills
- High attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent customer service and time management abilities
