Minimum Qualifications
As an Electronics Assembly Technician I, you will support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and rework of electronic hardware and cable assemblies used in development and production environments. Working from engineering documentation and build instructions, you will help ensure products meet quality, reliability, and schedule requirements.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and an interest in electronics manufacturing and assembly operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and wire lists.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and information lookup.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, quality standards, and company systems.
- Experience with electronics assembly, cable fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connector installation, and cable harness assembly.
- Experience performing continuity testing using digital multimeters (DMMs).
- Exposure to cleanroom, laboratory, production, or technical assembly environments.
- Knowledge of ESD controls, IPC standards, or soldering best practices.
- Experience using manufacturing or workflow tools such as Agile, Velocity, or similar systems.

Responsibilities
Assembly & Fabrication
- Fabricate, assemble, and rework electronic hardware, cable assemblies, chassis, rack systems, and test equipment.
- Perform wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connector installation, cable sleeving, and grounding activities.
- Follow assembly documentation, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure quality builds.
- Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Identify and report workmanship, design, or assembly-related issues.
- Conduct continuity testing and verification using digital multimeters (DMMs) and cable test equipment.
- Measure, record, and document test results accurately.
- Identify and report nonconforming hardware or out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Support quality assurance processes and hardware verification activities.
- Complete assignments efficiently while meeting schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
- Maintain accurate production and test documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations teams.
- Support overtime requirements when needed to meet critical program milestones.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process compliance initiatives.

- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including:
- Cleanroom Operations
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection
- J-STD-001 Soldering
- IPC-A-620 Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies
- Ability to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
