Vent Patient Specialist - Respiratory Therapy RN/RRT in Boston, MA
Join a leading healthcare facility near Boston, MA, as a Vent Patient Specialist and enjoy a stable schedule Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Competitive hourly pay of $45$50/hour with mileage reimbursement, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days and an additional $2,000 after 180 days. What You'll Do
- Manage ventilation therapies for pediatric and ALS patients in home care settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of respiratory patients
- Set up and monitor advanced respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use and care
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities
- Provide on-call consultation to support ongoing patient management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need
- Valid RRT or RN licensure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pediatric and/or ALS ventilation care experience
- Proficiency with equipment download software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
