Our ICU is also the campus code blue team. 24/7 Critical Care MD coverage on the unit. Our team of nurses and doctors use a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach to treat our high acute patient population. Our Leadership team is comprised of a Nurse Manager and 6 Assistant Nurse Managers who are clinically experienced and very hands-on. Our Charge Nurse does not take patients. ICU incorporates Rapid Response coverage and has a strong collaboration with Vascular Access. Cross training is part of the growth culture. We strongly encourage continuing education, certifications, and professional growth. Schedule: Full-time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation) Primary Job Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. What You'll Need to Succeed: Associate of Science degree in Nursing Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $31.53 - $52.24 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
