Registered Respiratory Therapist

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services across all modalities. This role involves working with patients to assess respiratory conditions and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions, treatments, and education.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly sanitized.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Ability to perform all areas of respiratory therapy modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
