Job Title: Hydraulic Leaks Team Member

Job Type: Onsite full time

Vacancy: 1 vacancy at B28 from Saturday through Wednesday from 7am – 3:30pm. Candidate must bring own tools.

Job Summary :

Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic leaks on injection molding presses. This role requires strong hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, the ability to diagnose issues, and coordination with inventory to ensure timely repairs. The team member will also maintain a clean and safe work area around affected equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

· Identify, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic leaks on IMM presses.

· Diagnose issues and determine necessary parts and materials for repair.

· Coordinate with the Inventory Specialist to order required parts.

· Perform repairs including O-ring replacements, hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, and component replacement (e.g., pumps, cylinders).

· Clean and maintain areas affected by oil leaks using absorbent materials, pads, and oil/water vac systems.

· Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and compliant with environmental and safety standards.

· Work independently to complete assigned repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

· Assist with additional equipment repairs as directed by the supervisor, based on business needs.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Education :

· High school diploma or GED

Experience:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment repairing hydraulic systems.

· Prior experience in plastics or injection molding preferred but not required.

Computer Skills:

· Basic skills using iPads, data entry, email, and web applications .

Mathematical Abilities:

· Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:

· Strong analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.

· Ability to effectively prepare business and technical documentation such as procedures, reports, presentations, etc.

· Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructions

· Ability to identify and report potential quality or safety issues.

Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures

· Bilingual English-Spanish preferred

· Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.

Physical Requirements:

Be willing to meet the physical requirements below and work overtime as needed, sometimes with minimum notice (including some weekends and holidays) to cover responsibilities based on the needs of the organization

· 100% of the time will be spent on the production floor completing work related to the position

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds

· Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

· Must wear all personal protective equipment where required.
