Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician in the Denver Metro Area. This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in laboratory testing and data processing. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a high-paced environment, interacting with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels. This position requires a high level of independence and responsibility, with the potential for significant career growth. Responsibilities: 1. Performing laboratory tests as per the industry standards and guidelines. 2. Operating a nuclear densometer to measure the density of substances. 3. Processing and analyzing test data using computer software and presenting the results to stakeholders. 4. Communicating test progress and results to clients, vendors, and staff at all levels. 5. Documenting work through accurate field notes and sketches. 6. Observing field and construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. 7. Maintaining a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and staff. 8. Working independently with minimal supervision, while demonstrating a high level of responsibility and commitment to excellence. Qualifications: 1. A High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. A minimum of 5 to 9 years of experience as a field and/or lab technician. 3. Experience in field and construction observation is desirable. 4. Current Nuclear Gage Safety and Transport Training. 5. Current HAZWOPER certification, ACI & WAQTC Certification & Nuke Gage 6. The ability to produce accurate field notes and sketches to document work. 7. A valid driver's license and insurable driving record. 8. A personable, flexible, and professional demeanor. 9. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
