Occupational TherapistAs an Occupational Therapist with The Menta Education Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for day to day life and work, according to the students' IEPs.Staff Hours 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mon-Fri, following a 10 Month School CalendarResponsibilitiesProvide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration & emotional upset.Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.Provide Occupational Therapy related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP directed.QualificationsCurrent State Occupational Therapy LicenseRegistration with National Board of Certification in Occupational TherapyAbility to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHICompensation & BenefitsIn accordance with the Pay Transparency amendment to the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003, information about pay ranges and employee benefits can be found at the following links:Compensation Information: refer to the "Student Services" section for this position's categoryOur benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off (PTO); and a 403(b) retirement plan with an employer match. For more information visit: - $78,000 a yearAbout Fox Tech Transition ProgramThe Fox Tech Transition Program is dedicated to providing a safe platform for young adults, ages 17-22. Our program helps them prepare for their next phase by providing a supportive environment for career exploration, skill development, health and wellness, behavior regulation, and independent living. Facilitators offer personalized real-world experiences to maximize each participant's independence.Students gradually transition through different placements, practicing new skills and behaviors in a safe environment. The program assesses their skills through hands-on projects and student-led businesses.
