Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care with a strong background in handling a variety of medical and surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for individuals with general medical and surgical needs.
• Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:9, with support from PCA techs on the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of nursing experience required.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active New York State nursing license.
• COVID vaccination required.
