You must apply if these things also drive you!ROLE SUMMARY: The Server Assistant supports the restaurant service team in providing a seamless, elevated dining experience for every guest. This role ensures that tables are set, cleared, and reset efficiently, beverages are refilled promptly, and guests receive attentive service from start to finish. The Server Assistant helps maintain the polished, warm, and authentic atmosphere that defines Hotel Drover’s Legendary Hospitality standardESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist servers in providing exceptional guest service by supporting all aspects of front-of-house operations.Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth seating transitions.Refill water glasses, deliver bread or additional items as directed, and anticipate guest needs.Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to coordinate service.Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including server stations, beverage stations, and dining spaces.Assist with polishing and restocking glassware, silverware, and China as needed.Ensure all service areas are fully stocked before, during, and after service periods.Work with the Executive Steward to develop and implement new cleaning and sanitation procedures.Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards set by the Food + Beverage department.All other duties as assigned.ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods (entire shift).Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance.Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of trays, glassware, and supplies.Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments and navigating between dining and kitchen areas.Comfortable working in hot/cold environments (e.g., kitchen, walk-ins).REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully.Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a high-energy environment.Flexible schedule — must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Embody our Core Values: Hit the Mark, Every time, Blaze New Trails, Spark Warmth, Honor All, Stay Curious, Be Intentional, Do Right.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous hotel or hospitality experience.Knowledge of basic food and beverage service standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfactionStrong knowledge of the City of Fort Worth and other parts of the DFW metropolitan area.Hotel Drover complies with all laws prohibiting discrimination against employees and applicants based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, genetic information, or veterans' status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
