Manufacturing Specialist - Acrylics - 2nd Shift Full Time, Taylor, TX Wage Range: $18.90 - $24.77 + 10% Shift Differential Location: Taylor, TX Type: Full Time – On-site Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm (Monday through Thursday). Overtime scheduled as needed. Gemini is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Specialist to join the team at our location in Taylor, TX. This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops. A day in the life of a Manufacturing Specialist at Gemini includes: Responsibilities Letter Finisher – Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials; properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order; assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order. Painter – Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order; spray products ensuring paint is applied consistently with customer requirements and company quality standards. Shipper – Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality; maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading; prepare products for UPS/truck pick‑up. FCO operator – Operate lasers or routers to produce product as instructed per work order; use appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate; participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement efforts; complete other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a frequent basis. Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets. Education and Experience Secondary School education/CAECor equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience. 1 – 2 years of experience in a production environment.
