Home Care RN Role: Key Responsibilities
As a Home Care RN specializing in admissions, you will:
- Lead home care admissions and create care plans
- Conduct in-home supervisory visits and train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Perform in-home clinical assessments and documentation
- Carry out physician orders and administer medication
- Communicate with compassion
Must-Have Qualifications
Requirements for this Registered Nurse opportunity include:
- Active RN license in Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Home Care, Home Healthcare, or equivalent admission/evaluation experience
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws
- Familiarity with Maryland's COMAR
