Senior Underwriter, Cyber/E&OSompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Underwriter, Cyber/E&O as part of our Sompo Pro team.Our Sompo Pro Underwriting team offers Cyber, Tech E&O, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Insurance Agents E&O, and Architects and Engineers E&O for primary and excess risks. We work through a network of brokers who share our commitment to long-term partnerships built on a strong service proposition.Location: This position will be based out of our Dallas, TX office. We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.Our business, your impact, our opportunity:What you'll be doing:Underwrite Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology Errors and Omissions, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, Architects and Engineers Professional Liability, and Insurance Agents and BrokersEvaluate all individual risk characteristics and properly determine capacity, attachment point, terms and pricingMaintain and enhance existing broker relationships as well as identify and develop new relationships within the South-Central region wholesale marketplaceDevelop and execute marketing plans aimed at retaining existing business and producing new opportunities that fit within the Sompo Pro division risk appetiteEffectively interact, communicate and negotiate with all levels of external and/or internal business partnersWhat you'll bring:Established relationships within the Wholesale Network in the South-Central MarketplaceMinimum of 5 years of Professional lines Underwriting ExperienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to travel approximately 10% of the timeAt Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
