Telecom Principal Network Engineer

To support a large-scale healthcare environment, the full-time salaried Telecom Principal Network Engineer will manage the design, deployment, and optimization of Cisco telephony solutions while ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Establish, implement, and maintain enterprise standards for Cisco voice and telephony deployments Provide technical leadership for the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Cisco telephony solutions Drive continuous improvement efforts, including process standardization, documentation, and operational best practices Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field Eight years of experience in network engineering, with at least two years in a senior or principal level role Advanced knowledge and experience with network routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, network design and architecture, network protocols, and network security Proven ability to lead and mentor network engineers Advanced networking certifications desired
